Airports/Airlines Redwood City is located 20-25 minutes south of SFO / San Francisco International Airport and 30-35 minutes north of SJC / Mineta San José International Airport San Jose, CA. Check both airports for flights as the airlines have varied schedules and fares. Airfares will often be better at one location or the other. Ground transportation to Redwood City from SFO is likely best by airport shuttle approx $20 -$30 or cab. From SJC it is best with airport shuttle since traffic and distance can make a cab fare expensive. Rental car is certainly an option, parking is easily available in Redwood City.
