Felted Hat Workshops Saturday, Sunday, July 19, 20 9:00-5:00
Learn the ancient technique of feltmaking in this 2-day workshop focusing on making hats. We will also cover flat felt, surface applications and 3-D techniques. No previous experience is needed, all levels welcome. Fee includes the wool & grosgrain ribbon to make & finish 2 hats.

Advanced Feltmaking Workshop To be determinted. This workshop is designed for those who have some previous background in feltmaking and would like the space, time and advice for extended projects. We will review flat and 3-D techniques and make Nuno; yardage created by felting wool into an open weave fabric. We will also spend extra time exploring different surface design applications. Participants can come with projects in mind or decide during the workshop.Fee includes 1/2 pound of wool, 1 yard of silk, 1 yard of voile (additional wool will be available for purchase during workshop)
