Create felt hats that captivate and amuse your friends. Wayne teaches each student to construct two handblocked felt hats using traditional hat blocks. - wood forms used for shaping straw and felt. Students finish and embellish their millinery creations with silk flowers, fabric sashes, ribbon, feathers, veiling, etc. Students are encouraged to bring items from their stash that they wish to use. This class is taught in Wayne's studio, in Redwood City.
